hmm todae is the 8th dae of Chinese New Year. yesterday was the 7th aka. Ren Ri [ everyone's birthday =D according to the chinese. ]
yesterday went to Lao [ eat? ] Yu Sheng at some teochew restaurant =D ha a bit late. but nvm yesterdae IS the CORRECT dae to lao yusheng. tts wat my parents sae. den when ordering food, my mum wanted to order more then the waitress sae tt since my dad is teochew hor on the 7th dae can n shud onli eat 7 dishes. lol so since we order the set wif 6 dish le just anihow add one more dish which is actually 4 diff things add together into 1 -.- so i ask my dad, first day of CNY wat teochew eat as tt ONE dish? ha he sae eat vegetarian food so everything add together into one bowl -_- then he sae second dae is take the vegetarian food n spilt into two servings -.- super lame.
so hmmm b teochew nt bad lor imagine how much u can eat on the last dae [ 15th] dae of CNY =X
so yesterdae had very nice dinner =D and eating yusheng at the restaurant is fun. the guy comes and for every action he does while adding the ingerdients, he says four meaningful words =X such a good way to learn and memorise those chinese idioms =X
more into chinese culure. todae on the 8th, at night close to midnight or after in the early morning of 9th day of cny, the Hokkien will burn sugar cane. reason is that they are praying to ... tian gong [ heavenly god ], who saved them from some disaster last time. something like they run into the sugarcane plantation to hide. yea something i learnt yesterdae during dinner =D* n i bowled todae ._.reading is essential. breathing is occasional. i read i breath i forget.
see?
